Dr. Leanza LiuLeanza Liu, M.D., received her medical degree from Peking Union Medical College and her doctoral degree at the German Diabetes Center in the University of Düsseldorf, Germany. Dr. Liu completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital and her fellowship training in Endocrinology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Liu has an extensive research background on islet cell transplantation in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
